Idahone, Inc. is a Colorado based company,  founded in 1973.  

It's charter is to build and market quality sharpeners, with common sense designs, utilizing high alumina ceramic as the abrasive medium.  Idahone, Inc. is family owned and operated, and proudly utilizes only US made materials and US labor in the manufacture of its products.

Idahone RS has been established to sell exclusively Idahone sharpeners to the retail public.

 When will my order ship?

Orders will typically ship within 1-7 days.

My order arrived damaged.

Please contact us through your order confirmation email and send pictures of the damage.  Many issues can be resolved without a return.

What is your return policy?

We accept returns within 30 days and the product must be unused and in original condition.  Buyer pays return shipping unless there is a manufacturer defect.  Please contact us through your order confirmation email if you need to return something.  

Do I need to clean my sharpening rods?

Yes, the metal buildup from sharpening will gather on the rod and will look grey.  Over time, this residue can affect sharpening.  Rods should be cleaned with our Superaser Cleaning Block or any household abrasive cleaner.

Is there a warranty?

Yes, Idahone Inc. warranties their products agains manufacturer defects for one year from purchase.  Please contact your retailer for this.
